Why Choose Informed Care Services

Support built around what makes life meaningful.

At Informed Care Services, we believe disability support should make everyday life safer, more connected and more fulfilling. Our approach combines professional knowledge with genuine care, helping participants build a life that reflects who they are.

Nurse-led understanding

Nursing leadership provides an informed foundation for quality support. It helps us look beyond the immediate task and consider the person’s wellbeing as a whole — including health, communication, routines, safety, relationships and goals. Nursing leadership helps us understand individual health needs, medication considerations, changing circumstances and risk, and coordinate with health professionals where appropriate.

Support for more than the essentials.

We are passionate about supporting people to live lives that feel purposeful and personal. That may involve everyday routines, but it can also mean pursuing interests, building skills, maintaining relationships, participating in community life and working towards goals that matter.

Person-centred, in practice

  • The participant’s preferences guide the support
  • Support plans reflect goals, routines and communication style
  • Staff respect culture, privacy, identity and choices
  • Participants and families are listened to
  • Supports adapt when needs or goals change

Safety with dignity

Safety does not mean controlling a person’s life. It means thoughtful planning that supports informed choice, wellbeing and confidence — so people can take part in the things they value, with the right support in place.

Consistent, respectful support

Trust is built through reliable staff, clear communication and professional boundaries. We aim for continuity wherever possible, so participants know who is coming and feel comfortable with them.

Partnership with families and professionals

We work constructively with participants, families, guardians, support coordinators, plan managers and allied health professionals — always respecting consent and the participant’s rights.

We are open about how we deliver, review and improve our services. Our systems are designed to support safe, respectful and person-centred care.
